El Faro de los Animales is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization that has served Puerto Rico for more than 25 years. We rescue, rehabilitate and protect abandoned dogs and cats through veterinary care, adoption, transport partnerships and lifelong sanctuary when needed. We meet each animal where they are and give them the chance to move forward.
Our goal is simple: fewer animals on the streets, more animals in loving homes, and a Puerto Rico where rescue is needed less, not more.
